This Privacy Policy explains how Build Price, LLC ("Build Price", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use buildprice.com and the Build Price service (the "Service").

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from the sign-in provider you choose (Google or Microsoft), and we record which organizations you belong to.

Documents you provide. We collect the files you or your organization send us, such as invoices, receipts, statements, and quotes, whether uploaded, sent to your organization's forwarding address, or retrieved from a mailbox you connect. We also store the information we read from those files, such as vendors, dates, line items, quantities, prices, and job references.

Email. When mail is sent to your organization's forwarding address, we keep the message as it arrived, including its sender, recipients, subject, and attachments. If you connect a mailbox, we access it read-only to find and retrieve invoices and their attachments.

Usage information. We collect basic information about how the Service is used, such as pages visited, actions taken, and log data like IP address, browser type, and timestamps.

Cookies. We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your display theme. We do not use advertising cookies.

Google user data

Build Price's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

If you connect a Google mailbox, we access it read-only, and only to find and retrieve invoices, receipts, and similar documents for your organization. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. People at Build Price do not read your Google user data except with your permission, to provide support you request, for security purposes, or as required by law.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service, under agreements that limit their use of it to providing services to us:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your organization uses the Service. When your organization stops using the Service, or asks us to delete its information, we will delete it, except where we must keep it for legal, security, or backup purposes.

We protect information with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and at rest and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by contacting us. You can disconnect a connected mailbox at any time from the Service or from your Google or Microsoft account settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law.

Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here with a new effective date and, if the changes are significant, notify you.
